I love this brooch and wish I could buy it for my mother.  But, the V&A is not known for selling their treasures.  The brooch is in the form of a jeweled and tasseled pearl bow.  Set with brilliant-cut diamonds in silver and emeralds, rubies and mother-of-pearl in gold, it’s truly a masterpiece.

The brooch was made in 1830 in Western Europe and makes up part of the Lady Cory Collection of jewels at the V&A.
